Prof. Antonio Maffucci is presently working as a Professor of Electrotechnics, at the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, Italy. He is also Research Associate at the Italian National Institute of Nuclear Physics, INFN-LNF, Frascati, Italy. He received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University Federico II of Naples, Italy. He is author of about 160 technical publications, including books, book chapters, journals and conference proceedings. He is a member of IEEE Nanopackaging Council, member of the editorial board of the journal Applied Sciences, and Associate Editor of the IEEE Trans. on Components, Packaging, and Manufacturing Technology. He is also member of several Technical Committees of international conference, and served as the General Chairman of the international conferences IEEE SPI 2011, IEEE SPI 2012 and FANEM 2015. He is the recipient of the Nanoscale Horizon Poster Prize at IEEE Nano 2015, of the Best Paper Award at IEEE Workshop SPI 2009, and of the Outstanding Paper Award from “Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2008”.
Prof. Antonio Maffucci’s research interests include circuit theory, electromagnetic modeling, electromagnetic compatibility, quantum circuits and nanotechnology, with special emphasis on graphene and carbon nanotubes nano-interconnects.
