Dr. Hamid Mobasheri is presently working as an Associate Professor in the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics at University of Tehran, Iran. He is the head of Biomaterials Research Center (BRC) and the Laboratory of Membrane Biophysics and Macromolecules (LMBM), Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics (IBB), University of Tehran (UT). He received his Ph.D. in biophysics from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom. He is affiliated member of several scientific societies. He is the recipient of several scholarships, grants and awards for his research. He is a member of Editorial boards of scientific journals and has authored number of books and full articles published in scientific journals.
Dr. Hamid Mobasheri’s research interest includes; Bio-electromagnetics, Bio-resonance, Biophysics of Nano fibers and microtubule polymerization, Biophysical characteristics of Olfactory Ensheathing Cells, Biophysical effects of electric and static magnetic field on wound healing, cancer cells, and spinal cord activity in cell culture and rat’s body Nano-environment, Effects of Electromagnetic fields (EMF) on single ion channel activity and translocation of antibiotics and oligonucleotides through OmpF porin nano-channel at molecular level in real time.
