Dr. Sudipta Seal is presently working as a Professor in the department of Materials Science and Engineering at University of Central Florida, and also he is Director, Interim Chair for the same department and university, United States. He has received his Ph.D. in 1996 for the study of Materials Engineering and Surface Studies from the University of Wisconsin, United States. He is a fellow of several prestigious associations and societies. He has received the Dean's award for faculty excellence and received both the 2011 UWM CECS materials engineering distinguished Alumnus award and UWM GOLD award, and Central Florida Engineers week award. He has published number of articles in peer reviewed journals in the field of Material science.
