Dr. Qian Wang is presently working as a professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Peking University, China. Until 2011 she worked as a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Virginia Commonwealth University, USA. She has received her Ph.D. in Materials Physics from Tohoku University, Japan. She has gained number of honors and awards in her career for her excellence in the field of Materials Science. She serves as an editorial board member in some local and international nanotechnology journals. She has number of publications in the field of Nanoscience, physics.
Dr. Qian Wang research interest includes the Computational design of low-dimensional materials for energy applications, Design and simulation of new metallic materials based on non-metal light elements, Magnetism of diluted magnetic semiconductors and carbon-based materials for spintronic applications, and Inorganic and metal clusters.
