Dr. Michael R Hamblin presently he works as an Associate Professor in the department of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School, United States. He also works as a visiting professor for School of Pharmacy, University of Ulster, UK and Laser Research Centre Health Sciences, University of Johyannesburg, South Africa. He received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Trent University, UK. He supervised number of Ph.D. students his carrier. He serves as active member in some Professional Societies and as editorial board member in number of international journals. He had number of presentations in international conferences, and publications in peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Michael R Hamblin’s research interest includes Synthesis of N,N-diaryltoluene-4-sulphonamides, Biosynthesis of aromatic isoprenoids, Studies with stable isotopes and the determination of principal precursors, Photosensitizer targeting in photodynamic therapy, and photo immune conjugates with human ovarian cancer cells.
