Biography

Dr. Stefano Lassi has worked and works as psychopharmacological expert for the Fondation Autisme Luxembourg, Sector specialist and Lead Auditor EN ISO 9001:2008 for DASA Rägister, teacher for the University of Florence, Department of Psychiatric and Neurological sciences and Tuscany School of Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences, psychiatric consultant for many ID Family associations and services, vice-President of APPC Tuscany section, member of the equipe for the program Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Compulsive/impulsive behaviours- Autism, University of Florence, winner of the Italian ASP prize for the most interesting original work on disability published in 2005, reviewer for many international journals. 

Dr. Stefano Lassi is professional head of the psychiatric services for Fondazione ODA Firenze Onlus of Florence (Italy) and Fondazione PAS of Florence (Italy), member of the executive committee of the Italian Society for the study of of Developmental disorders special section of the Italian Society of psychiatry and member of the comité de gouvernance FAL Luxembourg, consultant head of Seminario Maggiore of Florence.

Dr. Stefano Lassi is author of many national and international publications and books in the field of Intellectual Disability and Autism Spectrum Disorders, author for Cambridge University Press, Erickson, San Paolo and Dehoniane editors and teacher for many regional, national and European courses for the promotion of mental health for people with intellectual disability and ASD, and professional training.

Dr. Stefano Lassi’s research interest includes mental health, Autism Spectrum Disorders and Intellectual Disability, Family Resilience, Spirituality and abuse.
