Dr. Kamil Hakan Dogan is presently working as is an Associate Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Forensic Medicine at Selcuk University of Turkey. He received his MD degree at Gazi University in 2000 and specialist training of forensic medicine at Selcuk University in 2005. After his extensive researches in forensic medicine field, he received his Ph.D. in biochemistry from Selcuk University Institute of Health Sciences in 2012. He has published over 170 abstracts in scientific meetings, articles in refereed journals and chapters in textbooks. He is also a member of The Society of Forensic Medicine Specialists.
Dr. Kamil Hakan Dogan’s research interest includes Suicide types, suicide motivations, forensic pathology, blank guns, mole guns, child deaths, homicide-suicides, complex suicides, farm tractor-related fatalities, livestock related injuries and deaths, death scene investigation, postmortem interval determination, forensic biochemistry, suicide biochemistry.
