Biography

Dr. Raymond A. Hansen is professor of in the Department of Computer & Information Technology at Purdue University, where he teaches and does research work on network engineering, network security, and network forensic topics. He also participates in the delivery of curriculum and sponsors research in the Cyber Forensics and Security Program at Purdue. He has been appointed as faculty in the NSF Center for Excellence at Purdue (Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security [CERIAS]).

Dr. Raymond A. Hansen is the current president of the Information and Telecommunications Education and Research Association (ITERA). He received many awards recently CIT Outstanding Faculty in Learning (2013-14) and Katherine Snow Best Paper Award - 2013 ITERA International Conference on Information Technology & Telecommunications. He a member of professional associations and has authored many book chapters, papers, and presentations in the field of network engineering, security, and forensics. His research area of interest is network engineering - from design to implementation to management to incident response.
