Omar Amahmid is currently working as a Professor (Biology) at the Regional Centre for Careers in Education and Training (CRMEF), Department of Life and Earth Sciences – Biology Unit, Marrakesh, Morocco. He is also an Associate Researcher at Laboratory of Hydrobiology, Ecotoxicology and Sanitation (LHEA), Department of Biology, Faculty of Sciences Semlalia, Marrakesh, Morocco.
Omar Amahmid is involved in teaching and supervising activities like Graduate lectures: Animal and Plant Physiology, Ecology, Genetics and Immunology, didactics of Life and Earth Sciences. Supervisor of Personnel projects and research activities of trainee teachers and postgraduate students on science and educational topics. He has published many research works in various journals and attended meetings.
Omar Amahmid research interests include Parasitic infections prevalence, Health risk, Parasite cysts and eggs persistence, Crops hygienic quality, Environment contamination, Sewage treatment, Wastewater reuse, water recycling, Epidemiology, etc.
